ALSong Real-time Lyrics System Redesign

A system redesign project to improve the performance of the increasingly large-scale ALSong lyrics server. Participated in this project as Technical Architect. Serving over 10 million users in Republic of Korea.

Key Development

• Analyzed system bottlenecks and identified issues in the existing system
• Designed and proposed high-performance architecture
• Introduced Apache Solr-based full-text search engine
• Optimized real-time lyrics synchronization algorithm
• Performed database query performance tuning
• Designed and implemented caching layer
• Established load balancing and scale-out strategies
