Management System and Method for Store Having a Function of Congestion Detection
This invention relates to a store management system and method with congestion detection capability. The system identifies customers within a store by comparing location and distance information — generated through communication between user devices — against preset store map data. It accurately determines store congestion levels by eliminating errors in customer counts based on order information. By leveraging inter-device communication among customer terminals and communication between customer devices and in-store access points, the system calculates total headcount while correcting for customers without devices or those counted incorrectly. This enables highly accurate customer counting and congestion level calculation, providing congestion information to prospective visitors and improving both user convenience and reliability.
