Mr. Latte Story
What it is
The Last Idiot: 404 Survivor is a short survival action game for one thumb. A super AI has deleted every human on Earth, except one man who was on the toilet at the time. Drag anywhere to move him; his weapons attack on their own. Each stage lasts 60 to 120 seconds: survive the clock, then take down the boss.
A serious apocalypse, played for laughs
The world is a dark, ruined city run by the AI O.M.N.I. The army it sends is household appliances: robot vacuums, angry toasters, killer fridges, suicide drones, office printers and a manager bot that calls more robots to the meeting. The AI comments on everything you do and is wrong about almost all of it.
Weapons that should not work
- Legendary Slipper: thrown at the nearest robot.
- Frozen Fish: a tuna that spins around you.
- Toilet Lid: flies out like a boomerang and comes back.
- Kimchi Bomb: a jar that explodes and leaves a spicy puddle.
- Laser Cat: follows you and lasers robots.
Level up in the middle of the fight and pick one of three cards: a new weapon, a stronger one or a power-up such as Energy Drink, Lucky Underwear or Instant Noodles. Max out a weapon with its matching power-up and it goes through a Stupid Evolution: Slipper Apocalypse, Tuna Tornado, Toilet of Doom, Kimchi Nuclear and Cat Overlord.
The AI keeps breaking
In the middle of a battle the AI has an error. Robots attack each other, run out of battery, chase a mannequin they mistake for you or stop to install an update. None of these errors can hurt you without warning.
Five stages and five bosses
From WAKE UP, IDIOT to HUMAN DELETE, each stage changes the robots, the AI errors and the boss: the Mega Vacuum, Big Brother Microwave, Super Smart Toilet, Corporate Overlord and TERMINAL-404. Clear the last stage and the threat level goes up for a harder lap.
Growing between runs
Robots leave SCRAP. Spend it on five permanent upgrades, unlock the Kimchi Bomb and the Laser Cat with blueprints, finish three daily missions and earn achievements that hand out costumes such as the Tinfoil Genius and the Budget Cyborg. Costumes change only how you look.
Pricing
Free to play with no purchases, banners or forced ads. On Android you can choose to watch a rewarded ad to reboot once after you die, to steal more SCRAP after a battle or to get a weapon blueprint (three a day). Everything can be earned without ads, and the game plays offline.
