What it is
Clumsy Thief is a stealth puzzle game about a clumsy burglar who steals treasure from a museum and has to carry it out. Tap to step forward, or swipe to step that way. The moment you grab the loot the alarm goes off, waking lasers and cameras that were asleep on the way in. The easy way in is never the way out.
Every treasure escapes differently
- Ring: light, so you move as usual.
- Painting: takes two tiles and has to be turned before narrow doors.
- Safe: so heavy that every step takes one and a half times longer.
Zones and bonus stages
Six zones and 36 stages run from the Corner Gallery to the Impossible Tower. Devices get faster and gaps get tighter as you climb. Finish a zone and a bonus stage opens where you scoop up as many coins as you can before time runs out.
Key features
- Dangers you can see coming: lasers blink before they turn on, cameras show where they will look next, patrol robots follow their floor tracks and shutters flash a yellow light before they close.
- Funny failures: the painting jams in the door or the safe flattens you, and the next try starts at once.
- Stars and collection: each stage has three stars for escaping, beating the goal time and grabbing the bonus gem, and 36 stolen treasures fill your collection.
- Wardrobe: spend gold on ten outfits. Outfits only change looks; the rules stay the same.
- Local saves: stars, collection, gold, outfits, the heist in progress and settings are saved on your device.
- Korean and English: choose your language and set music, effects and voice volume separately.
Pricing
Free to play. On Android, after a successful escape you can choose to watch a rewarded ad to double that heist's gold. Every few clears, an ad may appear between stages. Retrying after a failure never shows an ad.
